Stefan Lucic bathroom adaptation

Mr. Stefan Lucic, 26, muscular dystrophy.
Wheelchair user since he was five years old.

After finishing Business School, Father Sava drove Stefan to school every day, waited for classes to end and then back to the apartment, Rakovica (part of Belgrade).

The younger sister is also graduating from Business School.

The Andjela Foundation decided to provide Stefan with a donation for the complete adaptation of the bathroom, replacement of the bathtub with a shower cabin, replacement and expansion of the entrance door to the bathroom with a new, sliding door. The whole bathroom has been adapted - tiles, water heater, sink, making the ceiling, moving the washing machine and water heater to another part of the apartment. The result of this donation should enable Stefan complete independence for his hygienic needs, without obstacles for wheelchairs.

What was especially pleasing to Stefan was the lowered mirror to the level of the sink so that he could see himself. Mirrors are today in apartments unattainably high for people in wheelchairs.

The amount of the adaptation, fully donated by the Angels Foundation, is RSD 320,100.00 (€ 2.720,00 or $ 3.170,00)
